Signing up for cellEPSON takes less than 5 seconds and is as easy as sending a single text message to a friend.
Sign-up Instructions:
STEP 1
Go to the TEXT MESSAGE screen of your mobile phone and proceed to create a new text message (refer to your mobile device’s manual if you are not sure how to create and send a new text message).
STEP 2
In the “To” field, where you would usually enterer a friend’s mobile number, enter the program short code 29608 (this is the same as a phone number, only shorter).
STEP 3
In the body of the new text message type the program keyword “EPSON” followed by a space, followed by your RETAILER ACCOUNT CODE (see table below), followed by space, followed by your STORE NUMBER.
STEP 4
Press “SEND”
Example: If you work in Circuit City, store number 919, you would text:
New Text Msg To: 29608
Msg Body: EPSON 234 919

After you successfully sign up to the program, you will begin receiving text messages from Epson on a regular basis (normally 1-2 text messages per week:
- Text message communications you receive will fall under one of the following categories:
- ALERT MESSAGES: These messages will contain useful Epson product, promotional or marketing information that will help you recommend and sell Epson products to consumers in your store. QUIZ MESSAGES will be formatted as multiple-choice questions. Majority of these messages will be product related. Each time you receive such a message, you can respond by pressing “REPLY” on your mobile phone, inserting the letter of the answer that you think is correct in the body of the reply message, then pressing “SEND.”
- SURVEY MESSAGES are similar to QUIZ messages, only there are no correct or incorrect answers. We utilize survey messages to gather valuable operational feedback from you so we can better serve your store and your customers.
Example: how to reply to a text message question: You just received the following text message question from cellEPSON: “cellEPSON: How many media paths does the Epson 1400 have? A) 1; B) 2; C) 3; D) 4 | Reply A, B, C or D?”
To respond, press “REPLY” on your mobile phone

- Each time you text a QUIZ answer, our system will reply to you with a message, stating that you answer was correct or incorrect. Only correct QUIZ answers will be entered into weekly drawings to win Epson prizes. You can reply to each QUIZ question only once in order to enter a drawing.
- Each time you submit a SURVEY answer, our system will send you a confirmation text message that your answer was received. Your first answer to each SURVEY question will be entered into the next prize drawing.
